If you are not a sports fan, especially not a table tennis fan, you may not know who they are.  They are the two among Chinese top women table tennis athletes, and they just won the titles of champion and runner-up of women single respectively in world championship held in Hungary.  (Another two Chinese women players, Ding and Wang, shared the bronze medal, third place.  That is, Chinese players enveloped all medals in women single.)

Liu Shiwen (in blue shirt), now 28, won over Chen Meng 4-2 last evening and got the very first title of a world championship in single for which she has been longing over ten years.  No sooner had she won the last point, than she burst into tears, a mix of joy, excitement, grievance, and long-time endurance in the remarkably keen competition with her compatriot rivals.  She deserves emitting those sentiments.  Congradulations, Sweet Little Jujube!  (FYI, Liu also won the title in mix double this time.  I do appreciate both belles, maybe a little more towards Chen.)

Both athletes are good-looking ladies, owning themselves a big host of fans in China Mainland.  But they are  much more impressive in the games with their incredible skills and performances.  You will never know how quick, how powerful in attacks and counterattacks they fought with each other in the match until you should have watched the (mainstream) game in the video provided by Youtube.  Please serf and watch it online, and you will not regret it.
