Please dont be a pack rat, a person who loves to store(or to collect) things that he or she doesnt really need.

In Taiwan nowadays, ordinary people usually dont have spacious apartment to live in, especially when they love to store unnecessary things to stuff up the limited living spaces.  What does it mean "unnecessary"?  For an example: paper boxes.  You know, since shopping online has become a large part of our consumption activities, over-packing likewise became an indispensable measure of secure delivery, thus produced a lot of empty boxes in houses.  What to do to deal with those "garbage"?  Ideally, we can dismantle the boxes and dispose of them for recycling.  Or we can save them for reuse,   falttening them or leave them intact.  But either one is not a good idea because in so doing it will cost you a lot of space to store them.

Maybe having gone through time of scarcities, some people of my age are still reluctant to give up unnecessary stuff which they definitely wont use them again for the rest of their days.  Well, its hard to convince those people of not being a pack rat.  FYI, my wife is one of them.
