Report said recently "immigration" bureau of Taiwan strengthened its checks on the across-strait couples by asking unreasonable questions, making the couple seemingly under interrogation like criminals.  If the answers to the question are not satisfactory to the inquirers, the couples fate is doomed.  Their entrance into Taiwan or the application of ROC ID will be denied, and even worse, the couples may be forced to part, and the one from Mainland may be "deported". 

For crying out loud!  The practice is a sheer discrimination.  Dear Mainlanders, are you really going to live in a place like this ghost island?  If you do love your husband or wife, please convince him or her to live with you in Mainland.

P.S.  When in 90s and early 00s, I used to give my "advices" to single colleagues "on the shelf" that they should consider seeking a life-time companion from Mainland, for at that time I thought the better economic condition of Taiwan could attract well-educated, good-looking ladies to marry Taiwan guys who had a decent jobs.  I was terribly wrong because  I was too naive then to foresee DPP would become such an inhuman party harboring distorted racism under the name of "national" safety.  I am sorry.
