I just came back from the fireworks show that celebrating July 4th, Americas birthday. The show was displayed in a large open theater with a huge patch of lawn "seats". Why? Because the show was preceded by a concert orchestrated by San Francisco Symphony, and the multicolored fireworks started only when it was dark in the evening after 9 P.M.. The music played were hardly symphonies; most of them were American marching songs and rock & roll. So basically the show was kind of a patriotic education, American style.
But the traffic after the show was totally terrible. We were stuck in the parking lot queueing to exit for at least one an hour before we finally got out of the mess. Ive got to go to bed right now. See you guys tomorrow.
