A "galaxy" of constitution judges, or grand justices, ruled that administration and legislature should enact a marriage equality law within two years.  The ruling is deemed as a great triumph of homosexuals and lesbians in Taiwan, and some media boast of Taiwan is the very first "country" in Asia that attains such an "achivement" in so-called universal human rights.

In the past, any abnormal sexual behavior was regarded as "unnatural act" and was not allowed, let alone an act that protecting such an act.  The impact on traditional family ethic aside, I empathize with those people's mental and physical needs and their calling for equal rights.  I hope they all can lead a normal life like us, and are not be treated as social outcasts any more.

But as I've been always asking, why DPP administration are so eager for approving of controversial issues like marriage equality, abolishment of death penalty, and anti-nuclear power?  I may be a little paranoid, but I must point out here again that they just want to distinguish themselves from China's Mainland, trying to demonstrate Taiwan is a more "civilized" society.  It really sucks!
