華府的預算、國債、赤字等等等都是以“十億”為單位，沒辦法，米國就是米國，財大氣粗唄！？(過去式？) 納稅的升斗小民，您可知，十億美元到底是多少呢？ 下一回，當您又聽到華府的政治家、政客在口沫橫飛中“億”副嘴臉、在口若懸河中“億”波三折、在口蜜腹劍中“億”來“億”往，稍稍想想，您希望這樣的政客花費您辛辛苦苦的納稅錢嚒！ 對於每日在一元、兩元中錙銖必算的小老百姓，十億、二十億是個令人難以理解的巨大數字，但某家廣告公司對“十億”做了個有趣且真實的透視： 十億秒前，那是1959年(大俠尚未出生呢)； 十億分鐘前，耶穌正在傳道救世； 十億小時前，我們的祖先還在石器時代敲敲打打；而.... 十億美元前，以華府花錢的速度來量測，那是8小時 20分鐘。 米國的華府有三多：紀念堂、美鈔、國債。。。呵呵。 How Much Is A Billion? S&P cut the long-term U.S. credit rating by one notch to AA-plus on concerns about growing budget deficits.
