301・習性私慾的作為是明顯的: 即淫亂、不潔、放蕩、崇拜偶像、施行邪法、仇恨、競爭(不和, 爭吵)、嫉妒、忿怒、自私的野心、不睦(異議)、分黨、妒恨、兇殺、醉酒、宴樂,以及與這些相類似的事。我以前勸戒過你們,如今再提醒 (警戒) 你們一次,做這種事的人,決不能繼承承天主的國。(迦5:19-21)


The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.(Galatians 5:19-21)


302・聖靈的成果是: 仁愛、喜樂、平安、忍耐、良善、溫和、忠信、柔和、節制。(Galatians 5:22-23)


But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.(Galatians 5:22-23)

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death--even death on a cross! (Philippians 2:5,6,7b,8:-)


314・我只顧一件事: 即忘盡我背後的,只向在我前面的奔馳。(斐3:13)


Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.(Philippians 3:13)


315・有許多人,我曾多次對你們說過,如今再含淚對你們說: 他們行事為人,是基督十字架的敵人。他們的結局是喪亡,他們的主是肚腹,以羞辱為光榮。他們只思念世俗的事。(斐3:18-19)

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. (1 Timothy 4:12,15-16)


329・虔敬知足是一大獲利。因為我們到此世界沒有帶來什麼,同樣也不能帶走什麼。只要我們有吃有穿,就當知足。(弟前6:6-8)


But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.(1 Timothy 6:6-8)


330・你應知道(記住我的話): 在末日,困苦時期必要來臨。那時人們只愛自己、只愛錢、愛矜誇、驕傲、謾罵、不孝順父母、忘恩、負義、不虔敬(聖潔)、無慈愛、難和解(不寬容)、善誹謗、無節制、殘忍、不樂善、奸詐、魯莽、自大、愛享樂勝過愛天主--貌似虔敬,卻否定虔敬的實質。不與他們交往。(弟後3:1-5)


But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God--having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.(2 Timothy 3:1-5)


331・我已被奠祭,我離世的時期已經來臨。這場好仗,我已打完;這場賽跑,我已跑到終點,這信仰,我已保持。(弟後4:6-7)


For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.(2 Timothy 4:6-7)

In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.(Hebrews 1:1-2)


335・祝聖者與被祝聖者都是出於一源。所以,耶穌稱他們弟兄,並不以為恥。(希2:11)


Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers.(Hebrews 2:11g)

Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered. and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.(Hebrews5:8-9)


338・如果我們認識真理之後,還故意的一直犯罪,就再沒有另一個贖罪祭了。(希10:26)


If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left.(Hebrews10:26)


339・你們應盡力與眾人和平相處,盡力追求聖德;若無聖德,誰也見不到主。(希12:14)


Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.(Hebrews12:14)


340・弟兄相愛應當常存。不可忘了款待(陌生人)旅客,有人因此無意中款待了天使。你們應懷念被囚禁的人,好像與他們同被囚禁;應懷念受虐待的人,好像你們也親身受苦。(希13:1-3)


Keep on loving each other as brothers. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.(Hebrews 13:1-3)

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."(Hebrews :13:5a)

Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king,as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men.(1 Peter 2:13-15)


352・要尊敬眾人: 友愛弟兄,敬畏天主,尊敬君王。(伯前2:17)


Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.(1 Peter 2:17)

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.(1 John 1:8,10)


357・原來世間的一切--罪人的貪婪,他眼裡的色慾,以及吹噓他的所作所有--都不是出於父,而是出於世界。這世界和它的貪慾都要過去;但那履行天主旨意的人,卻永遠存在。(若壹2:16-17)


For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.(1 John 2:16-17)


358・凡存在他內的(凡心中有他的),就不會一直犯過;凡繼續犯罪的,沒有見過他,也沒有認識過他。(若壹3:6)


No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.(1 John 3:6)

Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.(1 John 3:18)

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.(1 John 4:16-17)

5. NIV簡介


新國際版(New International Version,簡稱NIV)是一個當代英語聖經譯本,也是目前在英語國家被最為廣泛使用的聖經版本。翻譯該版本的翻譯工作始于1965年,由現在的國際聖經協會(International Bible Society,當時名為紐約聖經協會)提供資助。新約完成並出版於1973年,舊約完成於1978年,


並與進一步修訂後的新約一同出版。1984年,在經過了更仔細的修訂後,最終的定本得以出版。

Brief Introduction of NIV


New International Version is a contemporary English translation of the Bible, which is widely used in the English-speaking countries. The translation started from 1965 and it was funded by International Bible Society (which was New York Bible Society then). The New Testaments was completed and published in 1973, while the Bible was finished in 1978. The Bible was published in the same year with the revised version of the New Testaments. In 1984, the final version was published after scrutinized amendments and corrections. The International translation project involved the participation of more than 100 best scholars from the United States, Canada, the Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, who had dozens of religious backgrounds including Anglican Church, Baptist Church, Evangelicalism, Wesleyans and Presbyterianism.
