無私章第七

天長地久。天地所以能長且久者，以其不自生，故能長生。是以聖人後其身而身先；外其身而身存。非以其無私邪﹖故能成其私。
 

7. Complete

Nature is complete because it does not serve itself.

The sage places himself after and finds himself before,

Ignores his desire and finds himself content.

He is complete because he does not serve himself.

天長地久，天地之所以能夠又長又久，因為天地不會自己營生，所以才能夠永恒而長生。因此，聖人將自身放在最後反而因此而在最前。難道不是因為他的無私，所以才能夠成全他自己。
