巴爾的摩拉（Baltimora）是１９８４－８７年活躍於歌壇的義大利流行團體。 １９８４年初, 米蘭音樂製作人Maurizio Bassi與（聯合王國）北愛爾蘭醫護技術員Jimmy McShane,──以前曾是演員與舞者, 在米蘭成立一音樂組合‘巴爾的摩拉’ Maurizio Bassi召集結合一群著名義大利錄音樂手, 灌錄首張大碟［Living in the Background］ Maurizio Bassi擔任主唱, Jimmy McShane有時會提供合聲, 並擔任檯面人物。 １９８５年４月, 巴爾的摩拉推出首支曲［Tarzan Boy／泰山男孩］（EMICapitol/Manhattan發行） 由 Maurizio Bassi＋Naimy Hackett譜寫 Maurizio Bassi製作成一首義大利迪斯可舞曲, 並擔任主唱 ［Tarzan Boy］富節奏感, 旋律討好 以泰山的呼叫聲為旋律線 推出後在歐洲大受歡迎, 登上歐洲榜冠軍 義大利單曲榜Top５ 法國榜冠軍（1985年終#10） 金唱片, 大賣８０.３萬張＋ 英國榜＃３ 銀唱片（２５萬張＋） 西德榜＃３（1985年終#9） 西班牙冠軍 金唱片（２.５萬張＋） 荷蘭（1985年終#17） 比利時荷語區冠軍（1985年終#4） 芬蘭冠軍 瑞典／愛爾蘭亞軍／奧地利（1985年終#18） 挪威＃４ 瑞士＃４（1985年終#2） 加拿大＃５ 金唱片（５萬張＋） 澳大利亞＃６ 紐西蘭＃３４＃ 美國單曲榜＃１３（1986年終#73） 副榜－舞曲播放榜＃６ 舞曲混音銷售榜＃１３ 雖然Maurizio Bassi是主唱,但沒出現在其中 由Jimmy McShane對嘴演出主角 ［Tarzan Boy］收在１９８５年９月在歐洲發行的首張大碟［Living in the Background／活在背景中］ 巴爾的摩拉只紅了一張專輯 待下張大碟行後,事業便走下坡了
