　　波斯的蘇菲大師與詩人 Attar of Nishapur（1145?-1221）

講了一則小故事。（注）
　　
　　有位君王，勢強威盛，統治著廣裘的疆土。他的地位無比崇

高，連智者也成了他的待詔，隨時聽候召喚。一天，這位君王卻

如凡夫一般陷入迷惑之中，於是召來智者們。苦惱的君主歎息道：

　　「不知甚麼緣故，冥冥中有股力量逼迫我去尋找一只指環，

一只可以安定我的身心的指環。

　　「我非擁有這只指環不可！這只指環在我不快活時，會讓我

歡喜；而在我快活的當兒，瞧見它，又會憂傷起來。」

　　智者們彼此磋商，沉思靜慮良久，終於拍板定論。順應君王

之求，他們設計了一只指環，上頭鐫刻著一句銘文：

　　「這，也將過去。」（This, too, will pass.）

（此指環上的刻字為「嗡嗎呢唄美吽」六字大明咒。顛倒放置，泰極否來，無常欸！）

　　阿姜查（Ajahn Chah, 1918-1992）不時提撕弟子，諸行

無常，無常亦將過去，而這，也挺好的。大修行者灑脫如是。

我們溺於種種憂悲喜樂，往往難以自拔。所幸，這也將過去。

　　巧的是，日昨友人傳了一片 MV 請我觀賞，歌名赫然是

This too shall pass。演唱團體為 OK GO。影片別具匠心，

節奏與畫面嚴絲合縫，拿捏之巧令人叫絕。歌詞與上述故事

的寓意頗有異曲同工之妙。

　　呵，得放手處且放手。對待自己如此，對待子孫亦然。

This too shall pass
