老大六年级的英文写作作业。
第一首是写limerick (五行打油诗，第一，三，五句要压韵）
There was a small child who said “ Nay”,
“I shan’t go to bed when you say”
“It is not my custom”,
“And I shall not obey them”.
But Then he fell sleep as a hay.
(用了古英语，shant,灵感来源于他曾看过的漫画书。)
儿子非常喜欢二战的历史。虽然没去过德国，却读了一些有关的书藉，写诗的作业就写了下面这首《德国》.
Germany
Germany, full of joys
Like little children peering at toys
The celebrations are the best
Like Munich’s Oktoberfest
Places full of warmth
Like castles in the north
Areas full of smiling faces
No need to rush your paces
Lakes and rivers splashing
Sunlight and rays flashing
Visit the beautiful mountains
And see the water pouring like fountains
Rivers flowing almost without ending
Gentle hands that are lending
But reputations forever ruined by acts of racial cleansing
