Ability to mourn

(Sorry that I am using a MacBook right now, I couldn't type in Chinese. Please bear with my English... thanks)

It's been a long time since Taiwanese had major disasters. Last time when major disaster happened at 921, the whole island mourned and recovered unitely. It was not an easy thing to overcome but we did it.
This time, I was so proud by Taiwanese's quick actions donating $ and resources to answer the Chinese earth quake relief calls. In our local (Los Angeles) radio station, there was a guy with a strong Taiwanese accent said that he was glad that Chinese 'got' this punishment.... Anyone could tell that his heart has been corrupted... How can any human being say things like that?
Please, if you have hatred towards Chinese/Mainlanders, then please keep your comments privately to yourselves since they won't build anyone up. In fairness, Chinese are not the most polite, clean, or reasonable people in the world. However, neither are Taiwanese! Taiwanese and Chinese are similar in so many ways that if you hate one of them, you practically should hate them all.
Despite the political differences, these two people mutually benefit each other when they work jointly. Many advantages are to come when Taiwanese people are no longer afraid or avoiding mainlanders.
Let's not ask whether Chinese 'deserve' Taiwanese love or sincerity before Taiwanese actually demonstrate that we can and will love, even when Chinese are our enemies at times.
